School Of Baits Charters invites you to join Captain Damian Kuzmin for some of the best world-class fishing opportunities on Lake Ontario. Damian has several decades of fishing experience, so much so you could say he was born with a fishing rod in his hand. It’s high time you quit wishin’ and went fishin’!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 34’ Cabo sportfisher that’s powered by a pair of 375 HP Caterpillar engine, and has enough room to accommodate up to six prospective anglers. Onboard Cannon downriggers give you the ability to put the bait in the zone and keep it there.
Captain Damian and his crew use a variety of tactics to catch Salmon and Trout, from light tackle 12 lb test to 45 lb copper lines. Dreamweaver spoons, paddles, and Spindoctors will drive these Kings wild with A-TOM-MIK flies and/or meat rigs. You can also expect quality Bay Rat Lures for shallow to medium depths - developed by Captain Damian and his team. These are just some of the tools that will be at your disposal during the trip.
Captain Damian offers a hands-on approach to fishing and encourages people interested in learning the craft to help set lines and learn some of the secrets of the trade. Everything you need is included in the price of the trip, so just make sure you have a valid fishing license with you, and some drinks and snacks if you like. Gratuity for the first mate is customary and very much appreciated.
