My wife and I were on our Honeymoon and had never been fishing to any serious degree before so were excited at the opportunity to go sea fishing with Captain Mike! He was kind and sociable, as well as very knowledgable at fishing. He was patient with us and our amateur-ness, and did virtually all the work for us. We didn’t catch as many fish as we were hoping, but we saw and attempted to catch several larger fish including Tripletail, Shark, and Tarpon. In the end, Captain Mike took us to his special spot where we ended up catching the above pictured fish, and he even stayed overtime with us in order to make sure we were content. Definitely a fun experience and one we don’t regret!

My wife, brother and I had an absolute blast with Cpt Mike. We caught more then we could carry home, and we are all complete novices to fishing in general.
His enthusiasm and attentiveness made the trip a complete experience, by anticipating what we needed and providing guidance. I couldn’t recommend this charter more and will do more.

This was an amazing day.  The captain and the owner were fantastic taking care of us during our trip.  We learned a lot about saltwater fishing, and the captain took very good care of us. The water was pretty rough, and impacted our ability to catch many types of fish, but we were able to get into some sharks.  We will definitely be back in the spring and want to charter with this outfit again.  Extremely friendly.  Thanks for a great day!!!

Captain Mike!!!  The first part of the review is from the wife of a serious fisherman… I love lake water… but am scared to death of being on the ocean.  I reluctantly went on this in shore charter to make my husband happy…. from the minute we got out of our car and the locals at the Marina asked who we were going out with…. when we told them, Captain Mike.. the response was genuinely positive… everyone knew him and had all great things to say.  We did our research ahead of time and felt confident but this reinforcement helped me feel at ease.  This captain grew up on the water in the Florida keys .. he lives and breathes this life ... I felt safe and that says it all.  I even fished! ... I would trust my grandchildren on his boat with him… Captain Mike is an absolute knowledgeable, trustworthy, kind and is under paid!  He worked so hard for my husband to catch a snook… If I go on another charter in another state… the captain will be held to the utmost highest standard… Captain Mike…. my ONLY ONLY complaint is to ...have Tshirts available. I’d buy one without a doubt! #loveKingpin!!! #lovetheoceannow!!!

This was an incredible fishing trip! As well as catching a huge 25+ pound Black Drum (and losing some other big ones) Captain Mike also showed us beautiful wildlife like manatees and dolphins, and he stopped so that we could get a good look at the animals— he wasn’t rushing us. Plus, Captain Mike was able to put us on the fish despite the tough fishing that has been going on these past few weeks in mid-eastern Florida. If you’re having any doubt about finding a charter, go with the All Points Guide service with Captain Mike Atwill, as it is the best charter in Florida. My son and I will definitely be coming back and going on a charter with Capt. Atwill again. We’ll be eating well tonight!
