Located in Manteo, NC, the crew of Duck Hunter has been fishing and hunting in the magnificent Outer Banks for more than 15 years. Professional guide Hunter Garza lives for the outdoors, and specializes in inshore fishing and showing his customers the beauties of North Carolina. He’ll make sure you have an incredible time and get to know the area from a unique perspective.
Duck Hunter will take you out aboard a 20’ Carolina Skiff built in 2006 and fully restored in 2018. Yamaha four-stroke powers the vessel and it comes equipped with top-notch professional safety gear and navigational electronics. It also has a self-deploying i-Pilot wireless trolling motor and a live bait tank to keep your bait fresh.
The captain doesn’t always use live bait, but when he does, it can be prepared before or fished for during the trip - it’s entirely up to your liking. He’ll show you the best fishing spots of the bountiful waters of Outer Banks where you’ll be targeting a variety of species. Early spring is perfect for battling Speckled Trout, and when it starts to get warmer, Flounder can be one of your primary targets. You’ll be able to reel in Redfish any time of the year, as well as many other species. Depending on the weather conditions, the guide can also take you clamming.
You won’t have to worry about fishing gear - Duck Hunter will provide all the tackle and lures needed for the best catch. They’ll also make sure your catch is cleaned and filleted. If you want to bring your little ones along, your guide will be more than happy to have them on board, no matter the age. He’ll provide life jackets for them and make sure that you create everlasting memories together.
