Join Captain Scott Simpson aboard the Impulsive and enjoy Mississippi fishing at its finest. Armed with dedication and a treasure trove of industry knowledge, he prides himself on providing outstanding service for each and every one of his guests. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and will make sure the trip is tailored to your individual needs.

His boat, the Impulsive, is one of the most recognized and well regarded on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She’s a 25’ Stamas center console that’s powered by a single 250 HP Yamaha V8 engine. Equally suited for quick trips inshore as well as offshore trips for the bigger fish, she’ll get you to wherever you need to be in a snap.

Captain Scott’s specialty is fishing for the likes of Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Cobia, and more. He knows everything there is to know about catching the right fish at the right time while using the right bait. Not only has he been an instructor at several seminars dealing with saltwater fishing, but he’s also been featured on the TV show “World of Salt Water Fishing.”

Top of the line rods, reels, and tackle will be included in the price of any given trip, along with all the fishing licenses you’ll need. When you’re done and ready to head back, Captain Scott will clean and fillet the catch so you don’t have to. Get some snacks ready, bring a pair of polarized sunglasses, and we’ll see you on the water!

    On this trip, you will be targeting a wide variety of species depending on the particular month you are fishing. Most fish are not really far from the Impulsive’s dock, so there is not a lot of running time to the fishing spots. Mostly it is all light tackle fishing, but in July, August, or September, you could possibly catch Bull Redfish, Shark, or Jack Crevalle on this trip. See ya on the water! This will be fun for the entire family. Gratuity is customary and appreciated on all charters.

    On this trip, you will be targeting a variety of species depending on the month you are fishing. Most fish are caught not too far from the Impulsive’s dock. During the summer months (July, August, and September), fishing can be action-packed with Bull Redfish, Jack Crevalle, and possibly Shark. This trip could consist of both light and medium-heavy tackle fishing, again depending on what month you are fishing. Fun for the entire family. Gratuity is customary and appreciated on all charters.

The offshore trips can be action-packed in the months of June, July, and August. See ya on the water! Note: gratuity is customary and standard in all charters.

Captain Scott Simpson is a native to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Retired U. S. Coast Guard, Member-National Association of Charter Boat Operators, Member-Mississippi Charter Boat Captain's Association. Captain Scott has spent over four decades fishing the bountiful waters of Mississippi Sound, the Barrier Islands, and the Gulf of Mexico. He's been a guest on TV fishing shows, as well as a professional light tackle instructor at a number of salt water fishing seminars.
