Whether you’re a first-timer wanting to see if fishing is as fun as everyone says it is (it isn’t… it’s even more fun!) or an experienced angling veteran looking for monsters, Therapy Fishing Charters has the salve for your soul – a fantastic fishing trip.
Capt. Scott Ward invites you to join him on board his 24’ Sea Pro. Her center console layout allows for easy movement while battling for up to 4 anglers. An onboard live bait well ensures you have plenty of bait fish to attract big fish with. You’ll spend as much time as possible fishing instead of finding it, thanks to the advanced navigation and fishfinding electronics on board.
You’ll hit the famous Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay for Striped Bass, by trolling or chumming the waters. Cow Stripers aren’t the only fighters in the Bay, Cobia can also be targeted – perfect for anglers looking to flex their fishing muscles. Red and Black Drum also lurk under the surface. Croakers, Spots, and Flounder are some of the other fish on the catch list.
Capt. Scott Ward is the father of 6 and appreciates the importance of quality time with the family. So, bring the family out and enjoy a day on the water. He loves teaching new anglers and watching their excitement when they succeed. Experienced anglers are also welcome aboard because fishermen can always learn something from each other.
Remember to bring a cooler, Capt. Scott will clean, fillet, and bag your catch. Live bait is prepared before you arrive. Kids aged 3 and above are more than welcome aboard, the captain will provide life jackets in all sizes but if you have comfortable vests you are free to bring them along.
So, if you’re ready to experience stress melting away from you in the waters of Saluda, you’re ready to book a trip with Therapy Fishing Charters!
