Capt Frank and Capt Tony as first mate was an awesome combination.  They were open to planning it however we wanted.  I had family from out of town including my 80 yr old uncle so my first concern was his comfort.  “Phoebe” provided comfort for us with a nice large cabin and comfortable seating.  Door remained open where they could watch out of the sun and then just step out to reel up a fish!

Many kudos to Capt Tony serving as first mate.  He was warm, generous, funny, and very patient with our whole crew.  He worked hard to make sure we were having a good time.  Great personality, good conversation, and fun to be around.  Capt Frank was great too, just spent all his time upstairs at the helm!  haha!

Even though the sailfish weren’t biting from the day before as Capt Frank advised us, I made the decision to try anyways in the beginning for the first couple of hours with no luck.  Oh, well…  I then said, “Let’s go catch dinner.”  The first hole we came do had yellow eye snapper on it every single drop in less than 30 seconds.  One catch had 3 on the the line at once.  The electric reels worked well and totally spoiled us.  After pulling 25+ snapper, I made the decision to try something else.  We pulled up a 60lb Amberjack at the next hole, but didn’t get too much else as we only booked a 3/4 day charter to be cautious of my uncle, but we were very happy with our day. 

Would definitely go again with Capt Frank, but next time I’ll book a full day and take his advice up front.  Just tell him to go where the fish are biting!  See you guys next time.

The trip was great.  Frank made sure we got our dinner first thing as we headed out for the Snapper in the pic.  We all took turns pulling them in until we wound up with 17 which was enough for 2 dinners for 6 people.  Then we headed out to catch something with a little fight which we got with 2 sail fish and an Amberjack. Tony the mate was extremely patient and helpful with everything we did.  The water got a little rough for a few hours so we were very glad we went for the big boat.  The boat was very roomy for all 6 of us and the salon was a great place to take a break from the sun or sit in a comfortable seat.  My entire family had a great time and would highly recommend this charter.

Best fishing trip! The captain and first mate (Tony) were so awesome! They went out of their way to make sure we were having fun! Highly recommend!!!!!

Capt and first mate Addison were great. Have 3 kids and they kept the kids on the fish in rough seas. Would definitely use them next time down to islamorada.

Rough seas but still put us on some fish. Great day.
