What a great day with my kids and cousin,We lucked out with the weather as it was a beautiful cloudy and calm day also lucky we had captain Devin no doubt he is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. It was our first time fishing he taught us like nice teacher and helped us like a good friend. The boat was awesome We caught first salmon in less then 10 minutes. We caught 5 salmon 15-23 lb and 2 trout 10-12 lb and my kids caught and released some,

We are five senior ladies who booked a trip because most of us hadn’t been on a boat in many years. I’m sure when the guys saw us coming they thought “oh no, what are we in for.” But Captain Mike was fantastic about all our special requests, and our boat captain Connor and first mate Lucas gave us the most fun trip we could have wished for.

We cruised, trolled, caught four salmon (two almost 20 lbs, one smaller fish, and a tiny one we threw back in). We spend six hours chatting and laughing with the guys and with each other. They helped us with the fishing, and knew when to stand back and let us do it ourselves. They worked tirelessly to set and reset the rods to try and get the best results, and remained good-natured no matter what we could or couldn’t do.

The boat is superbly equipped, the engine wasn’t loud even when we were going full out, and there was no fuel smell which we had experienced in the past. Connor expertly cleaned and filleted the fish in a matter of minutes, and the guys were super helpful in getting us on and off the boat with all our belongings (and our fish!).

What a wonderful experience. The only snag is now we almost HAVE to do it again, which we hadn’t planned for. But it was so much fun we very likely might, and will certainly be recommending Niagara Fish Assassins to family and friends.

Son and I booked 1/2 day morning;  5:30 am arrival 5:40 dock departure, first fish on by 6:15 am. First 5 or so fish released as we hoped for large fish. Capt Lucas didn’t disappoint. He was was great. Experienced tournament fisherman and skipper. Prepared with strategy, equipment and tactics that produced fish of all kinds and sizes including a 20lbs king salmon, 12lbs lake trout and various other great size salmon and trouts.  We dropped several large fish after some short and some long battles and released several smaller fish. Suggest you bring lots of cooler space and think through what you will do with all the fish you will need to process, cook/store/distribute.  Lucas was very professional, on top of everything and informative.

Fishing with these guys are always good.
