This trip was absolutely amazing! It is well worth the price. I went with my husband and Capt. Chris was so welcoming and made us feel comfortable. If you are looking to book any charter please book with Chris, you will not be disappointed. You can tell he really cares about his guests and wants to teach them about the various aspects of fishing. My husband caught so many different species, even baby sharks! He had such a fun time since we usually struggle to catch anything in the lakes of PA. Chris is very hard working and goes above and beyond to make this experience great for everyone! We will definitely book with him again.

Capt Chris was terrific.  Safety first and fishing fun all the way.  Two boys 8 and 10 had the best time.  Capt Chris did everything except reel in reel in the 30—40 fish the boys caught.  The first fish was caught in 15 seconds from dropping the line and it did not stop for two hours. Croakers, flounder and dogfish.  The boys asked a lot of questions and Chris took time to answer them all.  He explained what he was doing when setting up the rods and operating the boat.  Helped the boys as if they were his own grandsons. Beautiful boat and good equipment.  Had several calls from our captain before the trip to be sure we knew were to meet him and what to bring.  Even offered to adjust start time to catch a better tide. If you want a guaranteed great experience on the back bay water take OC, this trip.  We will definitely be back next year.

My partner and I have been meaning to take our dad’s out fishing for a while now, and Captain Chris was able to help us deliver on that! If you’re looking for a laid back yet professional trip to take your family on, look no further. Getting to the location was easy, thanks to great instructions provided by the Captain, who is very responsive if you have any questions. Captain Chris has a wealth of knowledge only someone who spends a lot of time fishing these waters would know, and he’s happy to share that with you. He explained his fishing techniques and good spots to look out for, and took us around a few places to make sure we’d pull in some keepers. Beyond his fishing skills, Captain Chris is also very friendly and personable—he had our dads reminiscing like dads like to do. He was happy to answer our questions and indulge our dads by listening to their stories. That was really special. What’s particularly nice about this trip is how relaxed it was—plenty of space for us to fish, no chaos like how you might find on a fishing party boat, lots of attention and instruction from the Captain—it was exactly what we were looking for. Whether you want to take your parents out or your young kids, this is the charter for you. Avoid the stress of a party boat atmosphere and have some good family fun. Our dads had a blast. Even mom came out! While she did fish, what she loved best was being able to have a peaceful ride around in the boat (and getting pictures, taken by our captain, of the family and our catch). Everyone got what they wanted. We took our fish home and cooked a delicious dinner—even got some tips for how to best do that from the Captain. Thank you Captain Chris for making this Father’s Day weekend everything we were hoping it to be. My family made a lot of great memories and are looking forward to making more with you on future trips!

This is my son (7 years old) and I’s second trip with Captain Chris and we had a great time once again. My son pulled up a flounder 5 minutes into the trip, and we ended up landing 10+ flounder (and lost a couple :) ). The highlight of the trip for my son was actually landing a couple dogfish sharks. He got a big kick out of it! Captain Chris is very knowledgeable, and we learn something new every time we are out with him. We are looking forward to making these trips a family tradition. As an elderly man with severe mobility issues, I was more than comfortable, and there’s no climbing over the boat side, he just walked through the back door. That may sound funny, but it was a huge issue for me when considering if I could even go in a boat anymore.

Captain Chris is a special guy! We love feeling like he was an old friend.
