Here at Victory Bay Charters we do our absolute best to show our great customers why Louisiana is the Redfish capital of the world. Recently, I had a group of 3 stay at the lodge for a 2 day Redfish trip. Both days, we had a very short window to fish in due to rain moving into the area. Day 1 we had 15 Reds before 9:30, which worked out well as the rain moved in at 10:30. Day 2 we had 20 Reds and played catch and release until 11 am and barely made it in before the rain showed up. The overcast skies both days helped cool the water temps, so the Reds were eating very well. Great group of guys that were so much fun to fish with. Looking forward to their return next year.
