Great experience catching a large Wahoo, the only disappointing part of the trip was, that after paying quite a lot for the boat by bank transfer, when I arrived at the kiosk, they wanted a furthe 30euros. This should not happen.

Did half bottom fishing and half trolling. Unfortunately wrong time of year to catch Marlin. Did catch barracuda then caught 6-7 snapper which the mate fileted for dinner

I booked two days fishing for a group of six, first day a combo of trolling and bottom fishing, the second was to be a full day bottom fishing…all confirmed by email.
The first day trolling started positively, the boat was in good shape and well equipped with good tackle.
After a few hours I asked when we would start the bottom fishing only to be told by the skipper and mate that there would be no bottom fishing that day as they had been informed that we only wanted to troll the first day and combo the second….how wrong could they get it?
I had to no alternative but to accept the first day of only trolling but insisted on a full day of bottom fishing the next day.
We didn’t catch a single fish the whole day but guess we were just a bit unlucky, the crew did try their best for us.
Second day…the bottom fishing tackle provided was very poor quality!
Some rods were in terrible shape with rings missing, half the reels had old mono line on them.
I don’t think the skipper was used to bottom fishing or knew any decent marks to target the bigger fish.
We caught only tiny reef fish in small numbers…tourist type trip and certainly not worth 1,000 euros for the day, we were very disappointed!!
This boat is really set up for trolling only, if you want to do any other method if fishing, try another boat.
