Captain Bob Savino invites you aboard to start reeling in these scrumptious monsters.

Capt. Bob started working as a deckhand on these waters when he was just 15. He’s spent countless hours learning everything about boating, fishing, and the local region and its fishery. At the age of 22, he began running charters, and has been bringing in record catches ever since.

The incredible 38’ Armstrong Marine catamaran has plenty of space for up to 10 guests. Offering both shared and private trips, you can take advantage of these productive waters in whichever way suits you best. She comee equipped with all the latest Simrad navigational tools and safety gear, while she also features plenty of covered seating, so you’re in for a productive and comfortable day.

Using the latest Shimano and Seeker gear, you’ll be in pole position to hook plenty of exciting and delicious fish. Attract the bite with a range of frozen and artificial baits as you bottom fish for these incredible species. Capt. Bob and his first mate will be at hand throughout to assist you as you try to catch your daily limit of Halibut and Salmon, along with bycatching Cod, Rockfish, and many more.

Get out on the water and make some lifelong memories with Anchor Down Sportfishing. All you need to do is bring enough food and drinks to last the 10 hours through – just don’t bring any bananas or hard liquor! Growing up, I always had a passion for fishing. Being born and raised in Central Florida, I was always surrounded by some of the best fresh and saltwater fishing that the world had to offer. At the age of 16, I started working for an elite Alaskan charter outfit, Saltwater Safari Company. Starting as a deckhand on their vessels over a decade ago, I spent several years on deck followed by several years operating there vessels, the Legend & Legacy. Eventually I purchased my own boat 5 years ago and started my own charter outfit, Anchor Down Sportfishing LLC. At the age of 22, I obtained my Merchant Mariners Credentials as Master of vessels up to 100 gross tons. When the summer season in Alaska comes to an end, I spend my winters back down in Florida where I guide tours in the Everglades. Fishing is my passion and I Would love to take you into my world and show you the beauty of Resurrection Bay and the Gulf of Alaska! FISH ON!
