Starting out of Murrells Inlet, you and Captain Jay Sconyers will have an action-packed trip fishing nearshore, offshore, reefs, as well as wreck. Captain Jay is a seasoned angler who’ll do everything to put you on the fish and provide you with an enjoyable stay on the water. Your boat for the day will be a 34’ Hydra Sports center console that can fit up to 6 anglers. Running on triple 250 HP Yamaha engines, it will rapidly take you to your fishing spots. For efficient navigation, the boat uses GPS, fishfinder, radio, as well as radar technology. It’s also equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and a livewell. In order to enjoy your trip as much as possible, you can use a portable toilet, Bluetooth system, SiriusXM radio, and you’ll also have a first mate at your disposal.
The fish you’ll go after includes Black Seabass, Blackfin Tuna, Broomtail Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Tautog, Redfish, and many more. To attract them, you and the captain can bottom fish, troll, spin, and jig, using both light and heavy tackle. You’re free to keep the fish you catch. Kids are welcome to join aboard, so bring your whole family and enjoy a stay in beautiful nature.
All the tackle, live bait, and lures will be ready for you when you arrive. Captain Jay will also provide licenses and clean your catch after the trip. Just make sure to bring some food and drinks before you leave and you’ll be set to go.
