I live in the northern fishing capital of the world. ALASKA.  I did extensive research for well over 5 hours of boats, captains, crews and fishing in Puerto Vallarta.  I sure hit that nail on the head!!!  Captain of Alfredo and his nephew Leo are so incredible! The boat is amazing and large enough for my party of eight, and felt like there was room for more. on the way out there were whales all around us. A pod of about 200 dolphins swam up to, around and under our boat. Alfredo sure put us on the fish!  Lots of Cerveza’s! Leo made incredible ceviche, guacamole, And a small plate of sushi for me because I tasted the raw fish while he was filleting one.  I was also able to Bluetooth stream old traditional, Mexican music over their speakers for that special vibe.  We will definitely be doing a trip with him every time when we come back!

Alfredo and his first mate Mario were just awesome with, Mario manning up to 9 lines and Alfredo running the boat. We got into fish right away with many Bonita being caught, even 3 on one line… We tried fishing for Mahi Mahi with live bait but no luck. We caught some other species though, like Spanish mackerel and Jack Crevalle. Mario whipped up some amazing ceviche and guacamole for lunch and there was plenty of ice cold beer and soda to drink all day.
Besides the fun time fishing, we were all blown away by the wildlife out there. We saw at least 20 humpback whales, several sea turtles, we had a sea lion chase our fish to the boat and there was a manta ray, sunning itself, that must have been 15 feet across…
We had a great time with Alfredo and Mario on their comfortable boat! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a great offshore experience!!

Our family of 7 found Captain Alfredo here on fishing booker and couldn’t be happier with how our trip turned out. Captain Alfredo is very knowledgeable about fishing in the area and has been doing it for a very long time. The crew made delicious guacamole and fresh ceviche with the fish we caught! There were opportunities for whale watching, sport fishing, suntanning on the deck, listening to music, etc. We would highly recommend Captain Alfredo and his crew!

Had a great 8 hour day! We filled a freezer with skipjack tuna, Bonita and caught 2 mahi mahi! Crew was on it making sure we were always having as many lines in the water as possible. The boat was very comfortable on a long day and well equipped for food, drinks and seating.

At the end of day they filleted the fish for us. We had wish we had pre bought the freezer bags.

A very good day and definitely worth the price!

We decided to try a new fishing charter/tour company this year and I am glad we did!  The Captain and crew of Lucina III were very attentive to our family and genuinely wanted us to have an awesome time.  They both worked hard getting fish on the line (we caught 15+ fish) and made sure we had the opportunity to watch a pod of humpback whales playing.  It was a fun excursion and will definitely book our annual fishing trip with Lucina III next year!
