Captain Tom and his mate Rob were all-around great.  They have been friends and fishing together for many years and work together seamlessly, which makes things on the boat run super smoothly and safely.  They worked hard the whole trip to put us on fish and get them to the boat.  They were both extremely knowledgeable and friendly and full of fun fish stories and happy to answer all our questions.  I also really appreciated how honest Tom was about the prospects for the trip before we booked - a new special trip for tuna and shark that does not require hours getting out to the fishing grounds but can go either way.  We caught a few smaller sharks early on and eventually a big thresher.  The latter would not have happened if Tom, without our even asking, had not extended the trip to give us a shot at the big one.  In the middle of the day I mentioned to Rob I was getting a little punchy and within two minutes he had a bottom fishing rig in my hand so I could keep myself busy while we waited for something to hit the main baits.  The boat is roomy and well set-up and a very smooth ride.  So to sum it up, great people, great boat, great experience.  I definitely recommend these guys!

Our fishing trip with Tom and Thomas could not have been better. My friends and I are brand new to fishing with literally no experience, and Tom and Thomas made it easy and fun. They taught us how to use the equipment, they explained everything we were doing as we were doing it, and they even explained the different kinds of fish we could expect to catch on our trip. The boat was really nice and really clean, it had some really cool equipment on it, they had fishing rods for us to use, and they even provided all different kinds of bait for us to try. We spent about 4 hours together on the water, and they baited our hooks for us, took pictures of what we caught, took the fish off the lines for us, and even let us keep what we caught. By the end of the trip, after we had acquired all of our fish, Tom even filleted, skinned, descaled, and gutted the fish for us so we could bring them home to cook. I would absolutely 100% recommend this service, and I am really excited to go back and do this again.

A group of 4 of us went out with Captain Tom and had an excellent time.  We ranged from total beginner to a person with their own gear and everyone across the board had fun.  It was the perfect mix of relaxing and fishing.

Captain Tom brought us around to some great spots and kept us moving when the fish moved to the point that we had the larger fishing tours following us.  Because of that and, of course, everyone was able to catch a number of fish that we look forward to eating after Captain Tom fileted them for us.

We all look forward to going out again and I’d highly recommend the charter to everyone no matter how experienced you are.

Amazing time - Captain Tom and his crew were awesome. They put the hooks on the rods in the water and whenever there was a bite, we’d all take turns getting to reel a fish in. We all caught!  Tom and the crew cleaned them up for us when we got back, and we were able to keep them. Highly recommend and plan on using him in the future again for sure.

Perfect fishing trip for beginners and old timers. Captain Tom and First Mate Thomas were the perfect guides for our fishing experience. Everyone caught multiple fish with ease and when it slowed a bit Captain Tom was on the move to our very next catch. He had lots of great tips and was there right away to bait a bait less hook. Many great stories of his fishing experiences are there to be had as the day just rolls by with the great time we were having. I highly recommend a charter on the Goin Fishin!! You’ll thank me later on!
