Captain Big Fish – Light Lines
Come to Wrightsville Beach and enjoy some great times on its inshore waters with Captain Big Fish charters! With miles of beautiful coast to explore and a wide variety of fish to target, anglers come here from all over the country to find out firsthand just how good the fishing is.
You’ll team up with Captain Monty Childers, who knows a thing or two about where to find the best bite and how to get that fish to take the bait. He’ll take you to the prolific backwaters of the Intercoastal Waterway to chase Bull Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, and many more, depending on your preferences.
If river fishing is more your game, then Capt. Monty will take you to the Cape Fear River where you can target all the local favorite species and enjoy stunning views. You can try different techniques to find what works best, and Capt. Monty will have top-notch Penn and Shimano rods and reels for you to use.
Fly fishermen are also welcome to test their skills here, and all the necessary fly fishing equipment will be provided. There are a lot of excellent places for snorkeling in the area, so you can make a “fishing & snorkeling combo” trip. Just let your guide know in advance, and he’ll prepare everything.
Your boat is a 19’ Triton center console that is stable and fast, thanks to the 140 HP Suzuki engine. There’s space on board for up to 3 anglers to cast their line. With reliable electronics to keep you on the fish, and a live bait well, the boat is always ready to take you out.
When you come back to land, Capt. Monty will clean and fillet everything you decided to keep so that you can have delicious fillets for your next meal. He’ll even provide drinks and snacks while you’re fishing, so you’re in for an all-inclusive expedition.
Booking a trip with Captain Big Fish means that everything is at your fingertips – superb fishing action, restaurants, and beaches. Once you get hooked on fishing here, chances are, you’ll always come back for more!
