Operating out of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica since 1987, Osprey Sportfishing of Tamarindo has pioneered sportfishing in this area. Located close to the deep water, Tamarindo is a perfect base for a game fishing operation.
You’ll have a 31’ Rampage flybridge boat available for half, 3/4, and full day charters. Powered by twin 350 HP Detroit Diesel engines, it’s steady and reliable, perfect for reaching those productive offshore grounds in maximum comfort. It has enough room for six anglers fishing at the same time without bumping elbows or tangling lines.
You’ll have access to a restroom, kitchen, shower, beds, and the boat is even wheelchair accessible. Outriggers, ice-boxes and a fighting chair will also be there at your disposal.
Spectacular year-round fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, Wahoo, and other assorted species are all accessible with short run time. Spend your day fishing, not running towards the fish!
Osprey Sportfishing will keep your catch filleted and on ice for the day so you can have it cooked at one of Tamarindo’s many superb restaurants. The first mate will make sure to assist you with everything, so tips for his efforts are highly appreciated.
All equipment is top of the line, including Penn International and Shimano tackle. Osprey Sportfishing are happy to accommodate novices and families (no minimum age for kids), as well as experienced anglers.
