Balihoo Boat far exceeded our every expectation, the crew was incredibly friendly and professional. I felt like I should have paid double for the service that I received, the captain was very knowledgeable about species and strategies. Even in tough fishing conditions they still put us on 2 nice kingfish and a hook up with a sailfish. We took a mid trip break at the local reef for some extraordinary snorkeling where a crew member guides and entertains in the water for your private party. Not to mention when we made it ashore the captain cleaned our fish and prepared a 4 course meal of different styles right on the beach in the Caribbean sun, we invited them to sit down for the meal with us and it was great company, I will definitely charter with them in the future. 5 star all the way!!!!

Awesome experience.  Friendly and professional staff.  Took care of us the moment we left port until even after we landed.  Caught a good size wahoo and kingfish.  Had a couple of other strikes which caused some added excitement.  After end of trip they cleaned and fillet the fish and directed us to restaurant next door where they cooked it various ways from grilled to ceviche.  It was excellent.  We also had plenty enough to take home for our own cooking.
Our captain also cut up some of the fish once landed and we had fresh sashimi where he doctored up with awesome soy etc sauce.

Really the best things about this trip were Gerardo’s flexibility, and his attention to making sure we achieve our goals. My son desperately wanted to catch a fish, after coming up with nothing on our previous ones (not here). So, he was overjoyed to catch a barracuda that was large enough to feed us all. We then went snorkeling and saw two sting-rays. After we arrived, he gave the fish to a restaurant where they made three different dishes for the four of us from the fish. The meal was one of the best we’ve had. Overall I cannot recommend him more highly.

What an amazing day! They were so easy to communicate with both before the day and during, very accommodating and tons of fun. The captain and crew are experts and know where to fish and what you are catching. They made everything easy, enjoyable and inclusive. They even squeezed in some snorkeling to make everyone happy.  Great equipment, fully stocked boat, excellent captain! I highly recommend this trip.

Excellent Captain and First Mate! So very hospitable and they were very knowledgeable about finding us the hot spots for fish. We loved being able to snorkel and the water was as clear and blue as you’d imagine paradise being. The Captain fileted our catch which we then enjoyed eating freshly prepared beachside. This excursion was a peek inside the beautiful and friendly Mexican culture and seascape. Wonderful!
