Year-round, the Moosehead Lake is home to exceptional species of fish. Delicious and tough-fighting in equal measure, you’ll need to use all your skill to get them through the small hole in the ice. With live bait at the end of Heritage traps and at the end of your rod as you jig, you’ll try to entice the bite of Burbot, Lake Trout, and tantalizing Brook Trout and Salmon. At the end of the day, you can even take your catch home for a warming, hearty meal.
