Whether you choose to fish near Block Island, Cape Cod Bay, Great South Channel, or Buzzards Bay – you will surely have a great time on the water. Captain Spencer Bode is very knowledgeable about the local history and he can tell you a lot about the former whaling capital of the world.
You’ll be fishing aboard their 32’ Mirage boat, which is powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha engines. She’s equipped with state of the art electronics and fully stocked with Shimano tackle for every species and fishery. The vessel also includes an icebox and a livewell to keep the bait fresh.
All trips, species targeted, and fishing locations can be tailored to your needs and experience. As the crew fish out of North Kingstown and New Bedford for most of the season, they are near the best fishing grounds the Atlantic Ocean has to offer.
You can head to Cape Cod for Giant Bluefin Tuna and Groundfish, or south of Martha’s Vineyard for Mako Sharks, Mahi Mahi, and Yellowfin Tuna. Tasty fish such as Striped Bass, Scup, and Sea Bass are also on the catch list. Just let Captain Spencer know what you would like to target. Kids of all ages are also welcome and the captain has life jackets ready for them.
