The “Short Rigger” is a gorgeous, eye-catching 57’ Bobby Sullivan Custom Carolina Sportfisherman with a serious history of catching fish. Powered by twin 700 HP Caterpillar C-12 Diesel engines, she offers a speedy and very comfortable ride. Parties of up to 6 guests will enjoy her spacious galley and cockpit.
Galley amenities include satellite TV, surround sound, DVD player, Bluetooth stereo, air-conditioning, 2 sofas, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a bed, a refrigerator, a microwave, and coffeemaker.
The large cockpit features a Release fighting chair as well as 2 additional rod gimbals for fighting multiple fish at the same time, a huge fish box, a built-in cooler, ice-maker, and a spacious rear-facing mezzanine sofa for folks to enjoy the scenery while watching each other catch fish. The boat is fully rigged with navigational electronics including GPS, radar, VHF radios, and fish finder.
There are a large variety of packages to choose from. On the inshore trips, you’ll be able to enjoy views of the VA Beach oceanfront while catching species such as Cobia, Red Drum, Mackerel, and Bluefish. Offshore you’ll be targeting bigger game fish, such as White and Blue Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. In the summer, VA Beach is known worldwide for being a top fishery for White Marlin.
