My family group of eight took a trip with High Cotton Charters and it exceeded our expectations.  We’re from Oklahoma so don’t get a chance to go deep sea fishing much but we have been on several chartered fishing trips over the past 15 years.  We’ve been on some good ones, but this was the best and it’s not even close!  The Captain, Chris, got us on good fish immediately, focusing first on smaller fish we could use for cooking while in town.  Then he got us on some really nice red snapper which we limited out on well before our 10 hour trip was up.  Even though we couldn’t keep them (out of season) we caught a lot of nice Amberjack and Triggerfish.  The captain also did a great job of maneuvering the boat in what I considered to be rough waters, keeping us on the fish and inside the boat.  The deckhands Holt and Anders were great as well!  They worked hard to keep everybody in bait and catching fish.  I especially appreciate the way they worked with my six year old grandson, helping him catch fish and encouraging him!  The last note i’ll make is the effort they made in making sure the out of season fish were returned to the water in the best way possible.  Their efforts are appreciated for conservation and having a good fishery for the future. We were a group of 9 on a 1/2 day or 6 hour trip.  The crew was outstanding!  Our group ranged from 70s - Pre Teen; the guys were helpful and mixed it up w/ everyone.  Since the day was a little slow, we hit one more spot where we caught about 1/3 of our fish.  The last spot put us over the 6hrs by almost an hour, so it was extremely appreciated - we had a blast!

These guys will ensure you have a good time - you’re in good hands.

The crew is very welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable.  Captain Chris kept us busy catching fish and the time flew by so fast!  It was nice to have all the help with baiting and taking off the fish since, as a Dad, I’m used to doing it all for the kids.  They cleaned and bagged our fish quickly for us.  The boat was really nice, lots of room to move around, and clean.  Overall it was a great experience and we plan to book again.

We Had a group of 7 ranging from 5 to 55! For a majority of the group this was our first time deep sea fishing and needless to say it was a BLAST!!!! We had a great time, Captain Chris and Holt were extemely professional and patient with us, they made sure everyone was comfortable with the equipment and the do’s and dont’s for fishing before we set out. We caught our limit in a very short time, our only regret was not staying out longer. We are still talking about the days trip and will be for some time. We highly recommend this trip to any and everyone!! Thank you so much guys keep up the good work.
