Captain Jaciel and deckhand Noah were the best! We did an 8 hour trip and it was definitely worth it. Recommend the longer day of fishing if you are seeking the bigger fish. The bite was a little slow upon our arrival at “The Rock”, some 20 miles off the coast of Punta Mita. Two hook-ups, but lost both Mahi before getting to the boat. But then when Captain Jaciel found the fish we were bringing in beautiful Mahi for the rest of the day! We attempted trolling for billfish and tuna, but the Mahi were really thick. My girlfriends last fight was with a very good size bull. Had it up to the boat 3 times before more long runs and jumping. Lost the fish at boat, but we were not disappointed. Its still out there for someone else to enjoy. We had 12 Mahi in the boat, so finished off the day with a one-hour snorkel at the Mariettas Islands. Loved it! Great fish and a very cool blow hole. Would recommend this charter to everyone! Definitely do the 8 hour if you can afford it. The 12 fish Mahi were not wasted - Captain and crew helped feed many family and friends and we were able to give fish to a number of our new found friends in Punta Mita! Ofcourse we also enjoyed eating it, prepared many different ways for days to come.

We had a great day with Abraham and Carlos on the boat.  They both work well together to get you on the fish.  Caught some great mahi and a good size yellowfin. They keep a clean boat, love to fish, laugh and share stories.  Gladly recommend to anyone else and will be back to look them up again.  Thankyou for the day guys!

What a day i had fishing with Jaciel! He and Eddy kept me busy the entire trip constantly bringing in fish. Caught three different species, lots of Mahi Mahi and enjoyed every minute of my morning charter. I highly recommend them for your next fishing trip in the Punta Mita area.

Despite the rough ocean on the day we set out, we were able to tuck behind Las Marietas and get tight with some Pompanos!

Not my best off shore fishing trip. First we were supposed to fish with Captain Jaciel who was not present. The two on boat spoke very little to no English which I requested so communication was almost non existent which made trip long. Boarding boat was sketchy there was no docks so we had to wade out knee deep with back packs and lunches in dark after removing shoes hoping I didn’t step on rock, shell or worse glass. Experience of captain could have been factor as well? We tangled lines four or five times just trolling. One tuna bite for entire day. Last hour we changed gears went to different location and managed three Mahi Mahi. I feel the crew was very nice but communication and lack of fish made for a long day.
