Lingcod fishing is nothing but red hot in the spring months when they are hanging out in shallow waters for the spawn. You can begin chasing them and Rockfish as early as March or wait a little bit and add King Salmon and Halibut to the list of your potential catches!
Brookings Ocean Fishing can cater to any anglers, and the younger ones are especially welcome to join in the adventure. Whether you want to take your vacation to the next level and explore southern Oregon or just wet a line and check the bite, there is a trip for you.
You will be fishing aboard a 27’ Custom North River Sea Hawk aluminum boat, fresh on the water in 2021. It comes powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine and a 15 HP kicker motor and can cruise at a top speed of 28 knots. There is plenty of space for up to 6 anglers aboard to fish in comfort and style.
The boat features modern electronics, a porta-potty, and an ice-box for the catch. It is also equipped with top-notch gear and tackle, frozen bait, and lures – all of which you will be using during the trip.
Once you’re done catching, your fish will be cleaned and ready to go straight into the frying pan.
