You think you’ve got what it takes to complete a “Backcountry Slam,” and land a Redfish, Snook, and Seatrout all in one day? Then join Fish On Adventure charters for an ultimate journey through the backcountry flats, inlets, and nearshore waters around Captiva Island.
Captain Michael Werner runs several different charters out of the Fort Myers area, and he knows these waters like the back of his hand. His Captiva Island charter will have you fishing Pine Island Sound, Tarpon Bay, and all the way down to San Carlos Bay.
You’ll be fishing from a 25’ Contender bay boat, great for cruising both inshore and nearshore waters. She provides both versatility and comfort, allowing up to 4 guests to relax, fish, and enjoy a smooth ride. She comes with GPS and fishfinder that’ll lead you to some of the most productive fishing grounds along the coast.
Back bay and inshore trips will see you targeting Snook, Redfish, Seatrout, Tarpon, and Jack Crevalle. On nearshore trips, you’ll be focused on catching Kingfish, Cobia, and other reef fish such as Mangrove and Lane Snapper, as well as Gag and Black Grouper.
Capt. Michael specializes in a number of techniques, including jigging, popping, spinning, bottom fishing, and trolling. If you need to switch up your style depending on the fish you’re targeting, you’ll have an expert to assist you along the way as much as you need.
All trips come with state-of-the-art equipment, and your fishing license is included as well. If you catch something delicious like Grouper, Capt. Michael will offer to clean and fillet it for you so you can take it home for dinner.
