Capt. Eric organizes all-inclusive multi-day trips that will take you into the heart of the Amazon and keep you on the trail of giant Peacock Bass (up to 20 pounds). In these waters, Massive Catfish can weigh up to 90 pounds and they have a lot of fight in them.

This area is also the home of the Vampire Fish, Payara, with teeth that go for days and a formidable reputation. All the fish are strictly catch and release, though sometimes the captain can prepare sashimi and other fish delicacies for you.

These expeditions are shared, so you can come with your best fishing buddies or on your own. The season is open from September 1 until the end of February.

You will be fishing for 8 hours every day from a small boat, suited for 2 anglers to fly fish at the same time. When you’re not fighting your catch, you’ll rest in a comfortable 55’ hotel-boat that can accommodate up to 12 people.

There are 5 rooms on board (with 2–3 beds in every room), each with a private toilet and air-conditioning. Drinks, 3 meals a day, toiletries, and linen are all provided on the boat. The dining room is also a common area with a TV and a fully furnished kitchen. Bear in mind that if you venture deep into the rainforest, you won’t have any cell reception.

You only need to get to Manaus airport. From there, Capt. Eric will organize an airplane transfer to Barcelos. He will meet you at the Barcelos airport and drive you to the boat.

The only thing you need to bring on the trip is your favorite rods, reels, and tackle. The same goes for fly fishing equipment. Everything else will wait for you on board.
