Inlanders Guide Service has specialized in waterfowl hunting for the last 10 years and is now offering freshwater fishing to its list of services. Captain Daniel has been fishing these waters his whole life. He knows the best places to take you out for the most productive day.

The day will be spent on a 19’ Nitro Z7 bringing together speed and agility with maneuverability. This will give you a great advantage when out on the water. There are seats for the whole group and both anglers can fish at the same time. This is a great parent-child adventure or couples fishing trip.

The Belgrade Lakes region has an abundant supply of trophy Bass, Northern Pike, and Panfish. Though not native to Maine, these invasive species make for good sport and put up an unforgettable fight. You can also catch Perch and Crappie on these trips.

Children over 5 are welcome on board and will love reeling in their first-ever catch. Kids love these trips and have a great story to tell their friends back at home.

Everything you need for a successful day of fishing is included in the price of the trip. From top-quality rods and reels to the live bait that the captain will prepare for you before the trip. Also provided are food and drinks for the day.

Everyone over 16 on your trip will need to buy a fishing license before the day. Maine regulations allow 2 lines in the water per person with live bait, giving you plenty of chance to reel in your dream catch.

    A shorter trip is a great opportunity for beginners to experience freshwater fishing in Maine. Usually, the trip involves fishing for Bass and Pike on light tackle. Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price, and so are water and snacks. You just need to come along dressed appropriately for the weather and everyone over 16 will need to buy a fishing license before the trip.

I started fishing as a teenager on the Kennebec river targeting Smallmouth Bass. My friends and I would run up and down the rivers and streams on a daily basis using an old 16' aluminum boat. We used light spinning tackle and small plastic finesse worms which seemed to work best with a weightless hook. My strong desire to catch fish hasn't changed much from those times. I'm thankful I was able to grow up in this scenic area and gain a great amount of fishing and navigational experience. Now in my 30's, I'm still able to enjoy fishing the many excellent lakes, pond, rivers, and streams that central Maine has to offer. My home is within a few miles of numerous excellent fisheries that are sometimes shared with the pros from the Outdoor Channels Major League Fishing. When you live in an area as great as central Maine, you might as well be a fisherman.
