You can find him fishing anywhere around Fort Collins year-round, even when the lakes are frozen! The outdoor world is his lifelong passion, as he’s not only an avid angler and a guide but also an aquatic biologist.
Capt. Jed offers different types of guided fishing trips through the year. You can fish from the boat in the spring, summer & fall. Then fish on a frozen lake during winter. Check out his profile and find what suits you best.
Boat trips are great fishing fun, so come aboard his 19’ Lund boat. She’s equipped with a full compliment of comfortable seats, quality rods & reels, Minkotta trolling motor, chart plotter, and a quality sonar. The boat accommodates up to 4 guests.
You’ll be fishing on Boyd Lake at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland Colorado. Depending on season and which technique you want to try out, you could be trolling, casting, or jigging. Your main targets for the day could be Rainbow Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, and Walleye.
The captain will provide you with rods, reels, lures, and live bait. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license and bring your food and drinks for the day.
NoCo Fishing recommends an afternoon PM trips in April and morning AM trips June - September. May, October, & November both morning AM & afternoon PM trips are recommended.
