SF Boat Support is a family-owned business specializing in luxury fishing charters in the San Francisco Bay. Captain Brent McLain and his wife Mylan are both US Coast Guard licensed captains with 30+ years experience in fishing and boating. Their goal is to make your angling experience fun, safe, and memorable! If Captain Brent is unavailable, another experienced Captain will run the trip.
The “Hyperfish” boasts state-of-the-art amenities that’ll deliver a top-quality fishing experience for everyone. She’s a 38’ Canaveral express cruiser with top-of-the-line navigation and safety gear, as well as Penn tackle, and a live bait tank. She also comes with a restroom, a shower, and a bed, making her perfect for those longer offshore trips.
This vessel can accommodate 24 passengers and 10 people can fish comfortably at the same time. Capt. Brent and Mylan have hosted corporate retreats for some of the largest companies, such as Google, RedBull, and Warner Brothers. This boat is perfect for business events, family trips, or for a fishing extravaganza with your friends!
The San Francisco Bay is home to a wide range of fish that are both fun to catch and great to eat. On the half day trip, you’ll be fishing the Bay to target Striped Bass, White Seabass, Halibut, and many more. On the full day trip, you’ll also target Salmon, Rockfish, Lingcod, Tuna, and whatever else takes the bait!
Another fun and exotic-looking species to target are Leopard Sharks. Kids love these because they are safe, mild-mannered, fun to catch, and look absolutely stunning! Capt. Brent also provides spearfishing trips for up to 10 customers. Just bring your own diving gear and spearfishing equipment and you’re good to go.
Purchase your fishing license online and show up ready for action! Pack extra layers in case it gets chilly, and bring snacks and drinks as well. Rods are available onboard for 10$ per angler. SF Boat Support will take care of the rest, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride!
