The boat you’ll be fishing on is a 22’ Cape Horn Bay Series powered by a 225 Mercury 4-stroke, with a maximum passenger capacity of 6 passengers. We urge bringing no more than 4 full grown
adults per group due to weight restrictions and comfortability.

The boat is outfitted with a custom tower and features full controls for sight fishing. As for navigational and fish-finding electronics on board, The 22’ Cape Horn carries a top-of-the-line Garmin 740xs chart plotter / sounder combo, fish finder, and radio.

Scallywag Charters specializes in a variety of fishing techniques and methods utilized inside the Choctawhatchee Bay. Inshore trips focus on some of the area’s most popular forage, including Redfish, Seatrout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum.

The trip includes all the necessary fishing equipment, as well as live and artificial bait for the day. There are many different species of live bait that you could use, depending on the season, the species you wish to target, and many other factors.
