Jim Neville Outdoors - Bass Fishing
Get ready to explore one of the premier Smallmouth fisheries of the East Coast with Jim Neville Outdoors! Your guide for the day is a dedicated angler who never stops fishing. He’s been fishing in Maine his whole life and he’s determined to show you why the Pine Tree State is one of the best spots for freshwater fishing.
Jim was in the Marines for 20 years before starting his own guide service. If the military taught him anything, it’s focus, persistence, and discipline. He applies that same drive and determination while fishing and encourages his customers to stay positive and believe in their ability. He loves taking beginners, especially kids, out on the water and if he’s able to turn you into a fisherman, then he considers it a successful trip!
Your journey will take place on a 16’ Alumacraft fishing boat, equipped with top-notch navigational electronics, a live bait tank, fishing tackle, and safety gear. The boat accommodates up to 2 guests, including children ages 12 and up, so be sure to invite the whole family! You’ll also have a cooler stocked with snacks and beverages so that you stay replenished and energized for the whole ride.
You’ll be fishing on the Penobscot River, targeting the elusive Smallmouth Bass. This river is famous for its incredible Bass fishing on light tackle, so get ready to put up a fight! Your guide will provide you with an array of state-of-the-art rods and reels to choose from so you don’t have to lug your own gear around.
Just be sure to purchase a fishing license online and arrive at Elks Lodge Landing on time and ready to fish. Pack some sunscreen, mosquito repellant, and rain gear in case the weather decides to change. Everything else will be covered so that you have the most relaxing and care-free trip possible.
Join Jim Neville Outdoors and get ready for an incredible adventure in Maine. Last but not least, bring a camera to capture each special moment, and create lasting memories with your family on the Penobscot River!
