If you find yourself around Virginia Beach and you want to do enjoy some good fishing, Fish Slime Charters is there to take you out! Whether you’d like to go on an inshore excursion, do some spearfishing, or head to an offshore adventure, Captain Andrew Carwile will have something to offer you.
Your guide has been exploring the local waters since he was a kid, so it’s safe to say he has more than enough experience to take you where the fish hide. The inshore waters are rich in Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Spadefish, and King Mackerel; if you’re going spearfishing, you’ll be chasing Flounder, Tautog, Striped Bass,Spadefish, and Sheepshead.
Offshore enthusiasts will prowl the grounds up to 60 miles from the shore to target their favorite prey. It can take anywhere from one to 2 hours to get to that bite, and then it’s time to hunt for Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Triggerfish, Sharks, as well as Mako Sharks and White Marlin.
All this is possible thanks to the 23’ Mako center console with a 200 HP Yamaha engine, that will be your ride and fishing platform. There’s room for up to 4 people to fish comfortably, and there’s top-notch Shimano and Penn equipment waiting for you.
When it comes to spearfishing, it’s recommended to pack your own gear, though your guide can provide it too, just let him know in advance. If you’d like to do some snorkeling, bear in mind that only one person at a time can do it with the captain’s equipment, but you’re welcome to bring your own set.
When you go fishing with Fish Slime Charters, you’re booking an all-inclusive experience, all you have to bring is good mood and lunch on longer trips. The first mate will be at your disposal, and for his hard work on offshore trips, tips are appreciated.
Kids will always have a place on the boat, Capt. Andrew enjoys working with them, and as long as they’re 5 and older, he’ll have life jackets for them. Time to catch something brag-worthy in the bountiful waters of Virginia Beach!
