It was an amazing morning fishing… we went out just after 8am and had lines in the water before 9am.  Although we had booked a 5 hour trip - we had caught so many fish (Bonita’s) within the 1st 1.5 hours that we told the captain we had enough (probably 24 fish in less than 1.5 hours) and went whale watching.  He found a great spot for the whales, and we had quite a show.  We were back at the dock early - with a bunch of tasty fish, and the captain had called ahead to arrange for a local restaurant to cook it for us and we had an amazing fresh fish lunch overlooking the beach.

Captain Abraham and his skipper are incredible guides and people. My girlfriend and I went out with them for mahi and sailfish in ocotber and we were not disappointed to say the least. We got a half day and within an hour and a half of fishing the spot we were at, had 4 mahi in the cooler - one of which was closing in on 4ft long. The crew knew where they were and how to get em biting. Nothing more you could ask for.

We stayed in San pancho and Ubered to punta mita. Totally worth the drive. Heard really good things about the fisherman in punta mita and the rumors were true - at least about Abraham.

As an aside, my gf got very bad sea sickness around the time we got to the spot and was not doing well. Face down, throwing up, etc. The crew did not make a single snide comment or anything and were incredibly polite throughout the whole trip. Unfortunately we had to leave early cuz her stomach just couldn’t handle it, but even in that amount of time, we had a blast and caught more fish than we could eat the rest of the trip.

10/10 would recommend to anyone - beginner or expert.

Captain Jesus and 1st mate Noel were super knowledgeable and very accommodating. We caught 1 bonito but the they didn’t bite the rest of the day. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. That’s why it’s called fishing not catching. I was wearing great polarized shades and El captain was spotting schools of fish by squinting into the sun. Overall 5 stars.
