Captain Simon Fitzpatrick grew up on the water, so he’ll make sure that your trip is as productive as possible.
You’ll explore the waters of the Tweed River and Clarrie Hall Dam on a 14’ Quintrex aluminium fishing boat. The boat can take out up to 4 people, so you can have some serious fun with a few friends! You can be sure that it can take you to the best fishing spots in no time.
Capt. Simon will provide Shimano and Loop fishing gear, and he’ll have artificial lures for you. If you’re up for a challenge, there’s fly fishing equipment on board, so feel free to try it. No matter whether you’re a novice angler, or a professional fisherman, the captain will provide you with an unforgettable fishing experience.
There are boats, kayaks, canoes, and you can customize your own adventure here. You can fish from the bank as well, since there are many fish-rich rivers and lakes in the area. You’ll fish for Australian Bass, which can be a real battle since they pull hard and fight tough. Capt. Simon practices strictly catch and release.
Expect to have snacks and morning tea on all trips. On full day trips, lunch will be provided as well. Make sure to dress appropriately, pack some sun protection, a hat, and a camera, and come have a great freshwater adventure!
