Listen if you haven’t booked your trip yet because you are trying to make sure you get on the right boat with the right Captain and you want to achieve your goal. Stop here and book with Captain Ricky! 1st let me say, I am not a review writer, it’s just not me. I eventually end up getting too busy to go back and say thank you. So I am stopping to take the time to show my appreciation to Captain Rick via writing this review. If your goal is to catch fish and it should be based on your investment, then I hope you can take a good look at the picture attached. Without going too deep in the details let me start. 1st - Captain Rick’s communication with me prior to even coming on the charter was extremely professional. He had concerns about the weather and did not want me to make a blank trip to Florida just to get on his boat. A family friend who is an avid fisherman shared with me that the Captain is correct, based on what he is hearing we shouldn’t go out the seas are too rough. Captain Rick explained that if we still wanted to go out, the next day will more than likely be a go. Long story short we went out on Christmas Eve.

If you want to get the most for your money go with SeaCo Fishing Charter (Captain Ricky). If you don’t enjoy yourself I will have the IRS reimburse you (LOL). 2nd - Safety, Safety, Safety is what Captain Rick provided although we caught the mother load. Did I catch the Red Snapper and Yellowtail and my grandmother’s favorite fish from my childhood, no? Did we catch Vermillion Snapper and Trigger Fish? Open your eyes and take a good look at the fish. My only regret is that I did not stay out there ALL DAY LONG! But don’t worry, I am already planning and strategizing on how that will be accomplished. Lastly, I am not a fisherman. I enjoy catching fish. If you are somewhat like me, where you enjoy fishing but don’t know how to do all the things to bring the fish in the boat then you need to be on this charter. Enough said! Now book your trip, be on time, be specific on what you want, and get it done. Stop dreaming and make it a reality! I can only speak of my experience with Captain Ricky. So if I took the time to write this review after my experience, I would hope that you would do the same after you take your picture and get settled. I want to say thank you to Captain Ricky and his helper Mr. Cody! I also want to thank Captain Ricky’s wife for sharing Captain Ricky with my family on Christmas Eve! We got there early per Captain Ricky’s recommendation. This was my high school grandson’s special trip. Ricky helped him catch a sail fish which was awesome. He cleaned the other fish up at the dock and we took them to Aunt Kate’s where they deep fried, grilled and blackened the fish. Delicious and amazing we were eating our fish within two hours of the catch. Highly recommend Ricky and his boat/equipment. All first class.

BEST trip we have ever been on out of all the charters we have ever done!  I would go out daily with this captain!!  The Boat rides so smooth and glides through the ocean at fast speeds you couldn’t even tell you were hitting any waves!!  Top notch gear/equipment!  We caught a good number of fish and sharks and had a blast with Captain Ricky and his first mate!  Both captain and first mate were very easy to talk to and we had a blast!!  The 4 hour trip seemed like a 6-7 hour trip!!  We would definitely book another fishing charter with them!!!

Great experience. Ricky knows his stuff, anticipates everything, keeps out of the way when you need him to, but he’s there when you do, without you needing to ask. Perfect host as well as Captain.

We had a wonderful time!  Captain Ricky put us on fish from the the start and the action kept up all day.  We caught plenty of King Fish, multiple Cobia (one was 60 lbs!), Red Snapper, Trigger Fish, and Sea Bass.  It took two of us to carry the cooler of fish fillets home!  On top of all that, Captain Ricky was a pleasure, a great teacher (my buddy and I brought our sons with us), and all around super-helpful.  His first mate, Cody, was awesome too! We’ll be back for sure!
