Amelia Fishing Adventures

In demand!

Come join Captain Jeremiah Joost-Miller for a day of fishing on the beautiful Amelia Island, Florida. He knows these waters like the back of his hand. Expect him to take you around the surrounding rivers, flats, and backcountry on a marvelous adventure.

You’ll make your way around on a 18’ Action Craft flats boat, the perfect choice for the area. It’s powered by a 90 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots.

On your inshore adventure, you’ll be on the hunt for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Flounder. The Redfish bite is on year-round. There’s always an exciting way to target this elusive species on different tides. Our Trout fishing is also year-round. The early morning summer topwater bite is truly phenomenal. Flounder, Jeremiah’s favorite, is truly a tasty fish. They are more prevalent in the spring and fall months but there’s something to target here on Amelia Island.

Rods, reels, and lures are included in the price, as is fly fishing equipment. He procures shop-bought live bait before you guys head out onto the water. He’ll clean your catch upon request and your Florida fishing license is thrown in as well.

Water is provided, so take along with other beverages if you wish, along with some snacks. He has an onboard cooler to keep all your food and drinks fresh. The only other thing you’ll need is a camera to capture some memories of a great day on the backwaters!

Based in the Amelia Island area, Capt. Jeremiah has been fishing since he was able to hold a rod in his hand. Growing up, he would fish bass ponds from Florida to South Carolina. Later in life, he got his first taste of saltwater fishing and he was absolutely addicted. He started his saltwater fishing adventure bottom fishing bridges, piers, and docks in the local Nassau and surrounding North Florida area. Being the keen angler that he is, sight fishing became his niche. Searching for schools on low tides or in the high grass is truly a thrill.
