Bay Finatic will take you on an amazing inshore fishing trip all the way from West Bay to East Bay. Captain Joe Guerra has been fishing for over 20 years in the area. He recently decided to make a living out of his passion and help others to get better at fishing and have an unforgettable time on the water.
Your fishing trip starts once you aboard the 23’ Shoalwater Cat boat. This bay boat has been built in 2018 and accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. As she can reach a very high speed, it won’t take long to reach your fishing spots. The boat is fully equipped with navigational and safety gear, and also has a live bait tank and an ice box for drinks and food. Live bait is not included in the price - you will reimburse the bait before the departure.
You’ll mostly target inshore species, the ones Texas fishing is famous for – Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. You’ll mainly use light tackle, drift fishing, spinning, or bottom fishing to catch them. After the trip, you can keep the catch and have it cleaned by the captain.
Kids are welcome as well and the trips are suited for their age and (in)experience – as you’ll be inshore, you’ll stay out of the choppy waters. You only need to advise the captain about their exact age, so he can prepare suitable life vests.
