My husband and I booked a half-day trip with Captain Max on a weekday.  It was a rainy day but fortunately the sky cleared up just before our trip. We had a fab time learning how to fish, chatting with Captain Max about his passion for food and the sea, and exploring places we never knew exist in Singapore.  Wished we had booked a full day trip because 4-hour was not enough! It wasn’t the best day for fishing but Max brought us to a fish farm for some sure-catch fun - we caught 2 huge red snappers and bought close to 3 kgs of fresh mussels from the farm.  They were so fresh and delicious! Will definitely book another trip with Max again!

We had a great time exploring the northern parts of Singapore on an afternoon trip with Captain Max. He showed us around few of his favourite fishing spots and explained patiently what we can expect in each area. Throughout the trip, Captain Max was also very warm and hospitable, always taking the time
to assist us with the fishing.

Bait was not provided so we had to get it before the trip. Boat was clean, well maintained and very spacious for me and my partner. Bite was slow on that day but we still managed to bring home some fishes. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and great experience.

Thank you Max for the wonderful experience out on the sea and teaching us how to fish! Its our first time out in the Sg waters to fish and such fun. Even though due to seasonality there weren’t many fishes / bites, we enjoyed ourselves. But, we managed to catch two stonefishes! Was a surprise for my partner’s birthday and he loved it too! The boat was well kept, Max was really friendly and approachable and was knowledgeable about the sg waters and fishes. Awesomeeeee trip! Thank you Max!! :):)

I booked a half day private fishing trip for my husband in hopes of surprising him for his birthday. Max and Dan were punctual and professional, the boat and all gears were ready for us when we arrived. Max took us to a few nice fishing spots, a pity that the weather was very windy and not too much biting till later when the waters calmed down. Knowing that my husband wanted to try his hand at catching a big fish, when the waters and fish were uncooperative, the team came up with an excellent plan and my husband managed to snare two decent sized snapper. At the end of the day, we brought home 3 beautiful fish and a surprise squid! I appreciated how both Max and Dan were very kind and informative throughout the trip. We enjoyed the priviledge of having a tour on the floating restuarant, it is a must do!  But I most appreciate that being a complete beginner to fishing, they were both very patient and encouraging with me. My husband was most impressed with the amount of passion both of them have for fishing. We highly recommend Captain Max and first mate Dan to anyone! Well done team, we will be back!

Amazing experience! Both my friend and I were first-timers and we managed to catch 3 snappers in an hour with the help of captain max and Daniel! They have got many years of experience in fishing and gave really great tips on how to fish as well as the prominent spots that has higher catch rate. My takeaway from this is not only the 5 fishes that we caught but also the bond that was built during the 4 hours fishing trip. We felt really comfortable during the whole trip, and they were really helpful and go out the way to Ensure our satisfaction in the trip. 10/10 would recommend!!
