Tarpon, Snook, Bonefish and Permit are all in the cards when you go fishing with Capt. Matt. If you’re looking to hone your fly fishing and light tackle skills, then this charter is the right choice for you.

Freshwater excursions for Peacock Bass, Guapote, Carp and other non-native and exotic species in the urban canals of Miami are also on offer. In addition Capt. Matt can provide fly casting instruction and lessons – these trips are educational and ideal for beginners or young anglers.

Your vessel will be a 17’ Maverick flats skiff. These classic flats boats can accommodate up to 2 anglers, and are quick and maneuverable on the skinniest of flats, while also handling chop comfortably. Everything you need for a successful day on the water will wait for you on the boat and Capt. Matt will be there to help with everything else.

All of the necessary safety equipment, licenses, and tackle is provided as well as fly rods and spinners. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own equipment. On full day trips, you’ll have light lunch on board, and drinks are provided on every excursion. If you have any food restrictions, please let your guide know in advance.

Kids are welcome to join on your fishing trip, as long as they’re at least 10 years old, so that they can fully enjoy the experience.
