Have a day to remember by taking a trip with Fishbonz Charters! Captain Michael Haynes is a native with over 40 years of fishing experience. He fished all around Florida and decided to settle in Crystal River because of its unique fishery. He can take you fishing at any time of the year and teach you something new.

You’ll be fishing on a boat that accommodates 3 guests. This 19’ Hewes is a flats boat, powered by a 115 HP Yamaha engine. The boat features navigational electronics to help you find fish more easily and an ice box to keep the catch fresh.

Your catch depends on the fishing grounds you visit. River trip will probably get you Sunfish and Largemouth Bass, while the saltwater trip will take you after Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Flounder, Trout, and more. You’ll mostly use light tackle and spinning gear but you can also bring your fly fishing equipment.

Capt. Michael will cover your fishing equipment, bait, fresh water, and even clean your catch free of charge. Note that your fishing license is covered for saltwater fishing but you need to purchase it if you want to go fishing in freshwater (usually costs $17 for locals). Bring your snacks and you’re ready to go!
