One Last Cast is a charter service in Lake Pontchartrain that provides amazing fishing trips year round. Join experienced Captain Kris, who’ll share his tips and tricks, so you’ll catch fish like a pro. Both novices and experienced anglers are welcome to join, as this type of fishing never gets too hard and never gets boring.

You’ll be fishing on a 24’ Ranger boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine and a wireless trolling motor. She also features the latest navigational electronics, safety equipment, and a live bait tank.

Take an inshore trip and catch fish using light tackle. Some of the species you can target are Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. You get to keep the catch and the captain will even clean it for you after the trip. You can take it straight to the restaurant or bring your cooler to save it for later.

These trips are family friendly and they are a great opportunity for kids to have their first fishing experience. They will learn how to use the equipment and possibly land their very first fish!

Your fishing equipment is fully covered, so you only need to purchase yoru fishing license and prepare some food and drinks for the day.

    Spend this full day trip targeting Redfish, Trout, and Flounder in the local marshes. The captain will cover your fishing equipment, so you only need to purchase your fishing license in advance. Feel free to bring your food and drinks and don't forget sunscreen.

Capt. Kris has been fishing in Lake Pontchartrain for years and still loves his job like the day he first started. This gets him a chance to regularly meet new people and teach them what he knows.
