Bill was the perfect guide and made today such a memory for me and my son.  We caught 8 great fish and had so many that were so close.  The boat was a perfect size, he ordered up amazing weather, and even with a ton of other anglers on the water, we found multiple places that were secluded and stocked!  Already planning our next outing with Bill in June!

The fishing adventure I embarked on with Bill not only deserves a five-star rating, but also my unreserved recommendation. Bill took what could have been an ordinary fishing trip and turned it into an extraordinary escapade that I won’t soon forget.

From the moment we began, Bill showcased his incredible professionalism and intimate knowledge of the local waterways. His diligent attention to my comfort and preparedness set a positive tone for the entire trip. He patiently explained the fishing techniques and nuances of the gear in an accessible manner, a testament to his vast experience and deep passion for the sport.

Bill has an uncanny knack for finding the best fishing spots. In no time, we had our lines in the water and started reeling in fish. We managed to land 12 fish during the course of the day - a testament to his exceptional guidance and a clear indication of his prowess as a guide.

Of those 12, I chose to take 7 home. Bill expertly prepared and cleaned these fish for me, a gesture that reflects his commitment to providing an all-around convenient and delightful experience for his clients.

Another aspect that truly impressed me about Bill is his dedication to sustainability. His catch-and-release policy for certain species demonstrates a commendable commitment to preserving the local aquatic ecosystem. It’s reassuring to see such responsible practices in action, ensuring the continued availability of the sport for future generations.

Throughout the day, I was drawn in by Bill’s infectious enthusiasm for fishing. His stories of past fishing adventures and his evident love for the outdoors transformed the trip from merely a guided tour into a shared experience. This level of camaraderie made me feel less like a client and more like a fishing buddy.

The day started with a call from Bill that it was pouring down rain and lightning on the north end of the lake.
The front passed and we hit the water a half hour late. The fishing was slow at the start…the fish seemed uninterested.
Bill worked all his hotspots and still slow.We were marking some on the gear but not much.
We kept working till my buddy from Jersey hooked a really nice spotted bass. Then we moved and Scottie Boy hooked that monster Blue Cat. I was happy for my buddy but how bout me?
Bill moved again I caught the spotted bass in the picture. Moved a couple more times. Bill has ants n his pants if they ain’t hungry.
Moved to the last spot. Huge bait ball. I bring another spot over the rail. Bill sez well Boyz let’s head to the house. I was reeling up the last line …a down line. I always give the bait a couple hugs before I bring it in. And BAM. That striper damn near took that pole out of my hands!
