Captain Dax Hallock will take you to surrounding waters and flatlands of Cape Coral, Florida, and give you the opportunity to encounter many species of the region.
You can explore the area on East Cape Vantage (flats boat) model from 2017. The boat is 19ft long and can take up to 3 guests per trip. GPS, VHS radio, and fishfinder equipment are available. When in flatlands the boat uses the onboard wireless trolling motor, otherwise it runs on a single Suzuki engine that can reach maximum speeds of 25 knots.
This charter specializes in inshore and nearshore fisheries across the backcountry and flatlands locations. There you can practice your skill of light tackle and spinning. Throughout the year you always have a chance to catch Speckled Trout , though depending on the season you might find Permit and Snook. Many species of Bass are also an option.
Families with children are welcome. Anglers should get informed with the captain beforehand which fish they are allowed to keep. The charter provides iced water during trips, but you are responsible for your snacks and additional beverages. Also, be sure to bring sunscreen and a long-sleeved shirt.
