Wild Mullet Charters

25 years of fishing experience in Sarasota bay and the surrounding offshore waters speaks enough for Capt. William’s fishing abilities. He runs Wild Mullet Charters out of Sarasota and has a long list of happy clients. Some of them caught their first fish thanks to him, some learned a new technique, and some of them broke their personal record. No matter what’s your goal for this day of fishing, Capt. William will help you see it done.

Hop aboard a 23’ Mako boat, newly refurbished in 2019. There’s enough room for 4 guests to join and fish at the same time. To help you reach your spot faster, there’s a 225 HP Evinrude engine. This center console also has the latest navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler.

There’s a variety of fishing trips to choose from. From Snook fishing the backcountry, to chasing Tripletail and raising giant Goliaths on the nearshore reef. You can also catch Redfish, Barracuda, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, and Cobia.

If you’re a beginner who simply wants to “get a feel” of fishing, you can take a 2-hour introductory trip. This trip is available 4 times a day, so you just need to choose what time fits best into your schedule.

Your fishing license and gear are fully covered by the captain. The catch is yours to keep and you’ll get it fully cleaned and filleted.

Wild Mullet Charters has one goal: to make each trip an unforgettable one! Pick one and lose any doubt!

I transplanted to Sarasota from Boothbay ME, at the age of 5. Instantly, I fell in love with the Florida ecosystem, and wanted to learn everything I could about fishing Florida's waters. I have fished all over the USA both recreationally and commercially. This has provided me with a deep and well-rounded understanding of all the species found both inshore and offshore.
