We booked this trip last minute while on vacation with family. My husband and I decided to take a few hours for ourselves and we are so glad we did. Captain Troy was very responsive to questions before our trip. From the moment we met him at the dock we talked non stop. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well as what fish were around during what time of year. While the weather didn’t cooperate and was pretty windy so we didn’t catch much, he kept trying and never got discouraged. He was very intuitive and seemed to know the exact second we would need our hooks baited again. We will definitely be making a trip with him again!

We had an awesome day out on the water with Captain Troy. He took excellent care of us, caught us bait and was right there to help us if we got snagged or needed new tackle. It was like fishing with a friend and he worked very hard to put us on fish. We caught 11 red bass total and got to see dolphins, sea turtles, sea ducks and a beautiful sunrise. Troy went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time. The first attempt we fished for about 45 minutes and a storm quickly moved in. This was after he landed us on a great fishing spot where my wife caught a 35 inch red fish on her first cast. We had to call it a day as the weather got worse from there. Troy gave us multiple other options to make up our trip throughout the week and after a couple of rainouts we finally had a clear day. Again, Troy landed us on a great spot where my wife landed another large redfish (32in) on her first few casts. He navigated us around the water and brought us to multiple fishing spots. He even let my 7 year old help drive the boat! Throughout all of it, we caught an assortment of different species and had around 5 keepers. I highly recommend booking with Troy for a charter. We already have a plan to come back and charter with him next spring! Thanks again Troy for everything!

We had so much fun on our charter yesterday with Captain Troy! He was super friendly and made sure everyone on the boat was having a blast. He put us on some epic fish as well! My girlfriend Mary caught her first ever redfish and it happened to be a BIG one! My cousin Michael hooked up on the biggest tarpon of his life and fought it for a good while! This poon was thick! Definitely in the 100+lb class. We also caught a bunch more redfish, flounder, mystery fish and a lot of good sized mangrove snappers which is CRAZY! because theres no mangroves this far north. All in all a spectacular trip and would highly recommend for anyone in the Jacksonville area or even NE Florida for that matter. The captain is an easy going guy who knows the water well, my 9 year old and I had a great time!  We caught all sorts of amazing fish and hooked a few that were too big to keep. Nice boat, plenty of tackle, great location and a pile of fillets to bring home.  Tight lines everyone !
