Dez and Jake did a great job making sure we were catching fish constantly. They were hustling the whole time. They communicated well with each other to make sure we were busy catching fish. This was a great opportunity to be with my family and it did not disappoint. We caught multiple species and my wife, 13 yo daughter and I caught multiple sharks which was really fun. What really rocked was we took our fillets (filleted by Dez/Jake) to a restaurant and they cooked them how we wanted with sides and drinks. It was as fresh and delicious as you can get. We really enjoyed ourselves as a family thanks to these guys. Im not gonna lie, we are smiling right now while writing this. :)

We had the best time with captain Dez. He got us right on the fish, we all were catching fish left and right. Dez helped us learn how to set the hook properly for these kinds of fish and assist us if we needed help reeling them in. He baited our hooks and was very knowledgeable about the fish species we were catching. One member in our group caught a lemon shark on only 15 pound test line.He helped her keep the shark on the line to get it close enough to net and get in the boat! That was by far the coolest thing we have ever seen being from MN! Dez was personable and funny and made sure we had a great time! Highly recommend this charter and captain Dez!

Our captain, Dez was amazing.  We brought our three boys (5, 9, 12) with us.  The patience he showed with the youngest, helping him enjoy fishing and landing his fish was outstanding.  We were on a boat, 17 miles into the Gulf with no electronics and the boys had a great time because of Dez’s guiding and making them feel comfortable and confident.  If you’re wondering if your kids will be able to do 3 hours on a boat, book with Dez!  He made it a great trip.  Oh and we caught plenty to eat as well!

This trip was everything you’d ever imagined a day fishing off the keys could be. Captain Dez kept us on fish all day. We caught a variety of fish all day. My husband was lucky enough to catch and release an amazing Goliath Grouper. We had dolphins following our wake. When we returned to the marina Captain cleaned all our catch and recommended a few places near by that will cook your cleaned fish. We had the best fresh caught Florida Key’s fish. Can’t wait to return.

This was a fantastic trip. Five of us went out with Des.  It was not a perfect day, and at first we didn’t catch many fish, but he persevered and refused to go back in until we hit the jackpot. Very professional and friendly. Boat And equipment were great. We are cooking the fish we caught for dinner right now. Des really cares That you were having a good time and that you catch fish. Highest recommendations. We were a family of 2 60-year olds and 3 20-Somethings.
