We started out our foggy morning fishing for Southern Halibut.  The fog was thick and visibility was very poor and I was happy we weren’t going far or fast.  With the fog lifting and the fish not cooperating, Captain Eric quickly moved us out to the southern jetty.  This turned out to be a great move, as we almost immediately started catching fish.  Having never fished on the ocean and only a few times out of a boat and the rest of my family having even less experience we all learned some new things and had a great time!
The best part of course, was eating the fish. Captain Eric helped us with this as well.  He provided us with a name of a restaurant that would cook our catch for us. It was wonderful.

This was my 1st charter out of Galveston, Texas. I’ve chartered out of Panama City beach, Venice LA. And south padre and let me tell you there is nothing like fishing close to home. Captin Erick and KW made me and my dad and brother feel at home. Right from the start we were treated like family. True professionals and experts when it comes to their craft. Thanks Captin Erick we hope to see you again soon!

Captain Eric did a great job. I never fished before. He was very patient. And when the spot we had wasn’t biting…. we went to another!  And they were biting like crazy. The first thing I caught… a baby shark!’ It was so much fun!  My boyfriend who has fished many times… and his daughter, a first timer,  loved it also. So it’s good for any skill!  Great communication and all together wonderful experience. And we enjoyed our fish that night for dinner. Highly recommend… it’s family owned… let’s support our locals!!!
