Prior to the trip I touched base with Jason and let him know what fish that we wanted to target and what type of fishing we wanted to do.Jason made sure our experience was fulfilled and our expectations were met. Our trip started off with Jason meeting us at the dock at the hotel we were staying at, and on time. We caught a variety of fish starting off with blues and Spanish then we moved on and caught some red drum, flounder, and trout. We were able to take home quite a bit of fish to put in the cooler.  We had an all overall great time. Highly recommend Jason for a captain and guide.

My son Connor and I had a great time fishing the Back Sound with Jason at the helm. We hooked into four keepers (two red drums and two speckled trout), as well as several lizard fish and puffer fish and a few other trout and drum that were too small to keep. Jason has a great setup and is extremely knowledgeable about fishing and the area. He was also very patient with my super eager son and helped him land both drum — a big goal of his for the trip. You can’t beat the landscape, either — lush islands and sand bars, beautiful views, wild horses and all types of birds. It was an experience we will remember for a long time, and we’ll definitely hook up with Jason again next time we’re in the area.

Jason worked out the best day to avoid high winds and worked out well. He had us on Spanish Mackeral within minutes of arriving near Cape Lookout. Action was fast and furious and it was a great time !

The four of us had a great 8 hour fishing trip with Captain Jason. His boat easily accommodated all of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. He put us on some drum, flounder, trout, and a few grouper. We had no problem catching fish at each of the stops we made and there was little time between each fish we caught. Captain Jason took care of everything we needed and was very patient with us at all times. I would easily recommend Captain Jason to anyone. When we go out again, it will be with him.

I can’t say enough good things about Jason. We had an awesome time. He’s very kind, easy to talk to, and an expert at fishing in the area. He was very responsive prior to boarding and afterwards. His boat is so well maintained and he takes pride in it. He cleaned his catches afterwards as Well and measures every catch to ensure compliance. We will definitely be back next year and look forward to it.
