Operating out of Homer, Alaska, the world’s Halibut capital, Grand Alaskan Adventures provides amazing river and ocean fishing trips. Captain Will will take you to some of the top fishing spots in Alaska and make sure you have a safe and exciting day on the water, whether you’re looking for Halibut or Salmon, or maybe that up-close photo of Alaska’s spectacular wildlife.

Capt. Will’s experience with the US Coast Guard has taught him that water safety is critical for your Alaskan journey. He’s very proud of his understanding of Alaskan animals, land geology, and the history of this wonderful state. Capt. Will is dedicated to sustainable harvesting procedures and the preservation of native lands.

Capt. Will’s 33’ welded aluminum,  Silver Streak offshore boat is equipped with cutting-edge technologies and furnishings, as well as a private toilet. All of the necessary equipment is covered by the crew. The boat has a maximum capacity of 6 people. No matter what fishing spots you visit, you’ll have a comfortable day on the water.

You’ll mainly go after Halibut, Lingcod, Cod, Rockfish, and many different types of Salmon.

Make sure you bring your fishing licenses and pack some food and drinks for the day. Everything else is covered by the captain.

    Full day Halibut charters generally run about 10 hours long. On these trips, you'll be targeting Halibut in the Cook Inlet. Fishing depths range from 20' to 300+. Each angler is allowed 2 fish per day. One fish can be of any size and one must be under 28 inches. These trips are a favorite to most anglers looking to fill those freezers.

After 11 years in the Coast Guard and starting a charter business in Kodiak, Ak, I was ready to make my dream become a reality. I left the Coast Guard and started a full time charter business and B&B. I've had a passion for fishing for as long as I can remember. I truly enjoy sharing what I love to do with my clients and providing them with the best Alaskan Adventure.
