Great experience. Cody was very knowledgeable about the fishing spots as soon as we got on the water and the techniques to catch different species. His boat is well outfitted with Penn rods/reels and a remote trolling motor which made fishing close to the marsh areas very easy. We caught lots of spotted trout and sheepshead as well as a few reds. He is very personable and we enjoyed spending a half day with him. I will definitely charter with Cody in the future and would highly recommend others to do so.

Captain Cody was fantastic, was very knowledgeable about where to find the fish and was incredibly patient with us.  My son added a couple of fish to his list - Sheepshead, Flounder and even a Stingray, along with plenty of Redfish.  We will definitely call Top Predator and Captain Cody next time we’re in town!

We had an on-time departure from the dock. Capt Cody had already caught our bait so no lost angling time in search of bait. Boat speed was adjusted for our comfort and safety. All tackle was perfectly balanced for the target species…bull redfish and sharks. Capt Cody described the way the bite would happen, and minutes later it did! Two big redfish releases in the first 30 minutes. Some well timed location changes over the next couple hours led to 3 large shark releases. And just like that our Redfish/Shark trip to-do-list was complete!

Having a professional guide is important, but in my opinion there’s more to it than that. My son and I have bounced around several local charters over the years looking for the right fit. Capt Cody treated us as if we were the only charter that mattered. In the four brief hours together he took the time to really get to know us in addition to putting us on the fish. He’s as personable as he is professional. Needless to say, we’ll be back again and again starting with the November trout season. Thanks for helping us make memories!
