Captain Rob was very friendly and informative. Captain Rob pointed out the dolphins and sea turtles in the water for our enjoyment. First mate Brad was GREAT Brad made you feel at home the minute you stepped on board, and did a great job of setting lines and releasing the many, many fish we reeled in. We would definitely book Sure Shot again and request the same fantastic crew.

It was an overall excellent and very enjoyable trip. The crew was knowledgeable and professional. The boat was clean, and having a a/c and onboard bathroom was nice too. We easily caught our limit of trigger fish and had several vermillion snapper to go along with them. Every spot we went to everyone was catching fish. All 6 of us enjoyed our time, especially the 4 whose first time it was offshore fishing. Those four might even be a bit spoiled by the amount of fun and fish they caught. I recommend Sure Shot if you’re looking to have a good time guaranteed catching fish with your friends.

Capt Mike and Wayne are excellent at what they do.  Fishing with these guys will be a routine part of our family’s vacation from now on.  This was our first trip out and they took the time to explain what we were doing, the equipment, boat safety, etc.  When it was time to fish Capt Mike knows the waters and the fish and put us on them.  Wayne is full of fishing knowledge and energy.  He kept our lines baited and in the water, explained what he was doing and why, and every time we hooked one he was right there to assist if needed.  Our son is 9 and both of these guys are great with kids. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.  We will be back without a doubt.  We had a blast thanks to Sure Shot and crew!  Thank you guys for creating memories of a lifetime.

Captain Mike and his first mate Wayne were simply awesome for our first family experience of deepsea fishing.  The waters were a little rough at first getting out past the shallows due to some weather the previous day, but Wayne was great to encourage our nervous 12-year-old, who wanted to turn back, to hang in there.  In just a short time Wayne had our son pulling in red snapper, king marlin and Spanish marlin and having a great time.  Captain Mike kept the boat over the fish, so we could reel them in and get our limit.  We would highly recommend Sure Shot for a great family experience.
